The RK5 fuse provides motor overload, ground fault and short-circuit protection. Helps protect motors against burnout from single phasing on three phase systems. Simplifies and improves blackout prevention (selective coordination). Dual-element fuses can be applied in circuits subject to temporary motor overloads and surge currents to provide both high performance short-circuit and overload protection. The overload element provides protection against low level overcurrent of overloads and will hold an overload which is five times greater than the ampere rating of the fuse for a minimum of ten seconds.

Eatons Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters (AFCIs) use advanced electronic technology to reduce fire hazards in electrical circuits, including connected cords. They meet the requirements of the UL Standard for Safety, UL 1699 for devices that reduce the effects of persistent arcing faults that may pose a risk of fire under certain conditions. Arcing creates high intensity heating at the point of the arc resulting in burning particles that may over time ignite surrounding material, such as wood framing or insulation. The CHFCAF120 is a 20 Amp combination type breaker that includes all the protection of the branch feeder, plus it directly detects persistent low current arcing faults down to 5 Amp to efficiently protect against fire hazards in the cords connected to outlets.
- Combination type includes all the protection of the branch feeder, plus it directly detects persistent low current arcing faults down to 5 Amp to efficiently protect against fire hazards in the cords connected to outlets
- Branch feeder mitigates parallel arcing faults, which produce the most energy of all arcing faults, in the complete circuit including connected cords for enhanced safety
- For use in type CH load centers
